Brutal Draft is the talent and training programme by Brutal AI in Vienna. Like a youth academy, we sign the very best in their field early, from age 14, right after compulsory school. Working alongside our senior engineers, you put AI to work at real companies, extremely hands-on and from day one.

A trial in Vienna
You work with us on a real problem. Afterwards both sides know whether it fits.
Your contract
At least 1 to 2 years, monthly pay, a flat, online school and a senior engineer as your mentor. If you're under 18, your parents sign too.
No practice exercises. Extremely hands-on.
You're assigned to a senior engineer, and together you put AI to work where companies really use it. When you build something, someone notices the next morning.

An assistant that answers dealers' technical questions, and a test method that finds wrong answers before a customer sees them.

What does it cost?
Nothing. We pay for the training, the move, your flat in Vienna, all your living costs and the online school. On top of that you get paid every month.
Where do I live?
In a flat in Vienna that we provide for you.
Who looks after me in Vienna?
Your senior engineer on the work side. You and your parents also get a fixed contact person on the team. And you won't be alone: you start as a small group of 4 to 5 people and work closely with Felix, Gregor and the Brutal team.
When can I apply?
From age 14, as soon as you've completed compulsory schooling. In Austria that's usually at 14 or 15. The first group starts in spring 2027.
What about my school diploma?
We set things up so that you meet all legal requirements. If you want, you complete an online school alongside the work and earn a diploma, paid by us. The focus stays on working on real projects.
What do I need to bring?
You're among the best in your field, extremely smart and seriously up for it. And you've already done something with AI that others can't. Here you learn how to change real companies with it, extremely hands-on.
How long is the programme?
Your first contract runs for at least one to two years. After that you can keep moving up with us, all the way to Senior AI Manager.
How does applying work?
You fill in the form and show us what you can do. If we want to keep talking, we'll invite you to a trial in Vienna. If you're under 18, we talk to your parents first, and they sign the contract too.
